Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide this website and, where applicable, CCTV and security installation services.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
About these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and set out the basis on which we quote for and carry out work. Where we provide you with a written quotation or an order confirmation, that document takes precedence over anything on this page if the two conflict.
This site is operated by CCTV Installer Kent.
Using this website
You may use this site for your own personal or business purposes in connection with enquiring about our services. You may not copy substantial parts of it, republish it, or use it in any way that is unlawful or that could damage the site or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
Information on this site
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a technical specification, or professional advice about the security of a particular property. See our disclaimer.
Prices and estimates
- Any prices shown on this site are indicative guide ranges. They are not quotations.
- A quotation is only binding once given in writing for a specific property and specific scope of work, and is normally valid for 30 days.
- If work is required that could not reasonably have been identified when quoting — for example cable routes that turn out to be inaccessible, or existing wiring found to be unusable — we will tell you and agree the change with you before continuing.
Carrying out the work
- You confirm that you own the property or are authorised to have the work done. If the property is rented, leasehold or shared, obtaining any necessary permission is your responsibility.
- We need reasonable access to the property, and to a power supply, on the agreed date.
- We will agree camera positions with you before fitting. Once equipment is installed, moving it later may be chargeable.
- You are responsible for how you subsequently operate the system, including your obligations as its operator under data protection law.
Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quotation or invoice. Where a deposit is required for equipment, this will be stated before work is booked.
Cancellation
If you are a consumer and you booked the work away from our premises or at a distance, you generally have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. If you asked us to start within that period and we have done so, we may charge for the work already carried out. Your quotation will set out how to cancel.
Guarantees and manufacturer warranties
Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty applicable to it. Any workmanship guarantee we offer will be stated on your quotation or order confirmation.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for loss of profit or business interruption, or for loss or damage arising from a security incident at the property. A CCTV or alarm system reduces risk; it does not guarantee that a crime will be prevented or that usable evidence will be captured.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, please tell us. Our complaints policy explains how we handle it and how quickly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
