CCTV Installer Kent grew from the day-to-day security work of founder Daniel Mercer, who started working with CCTV and electronic security systems after training as an electrical and communications technician. While working around Maidstone, Medway and the wider county, Daniel kept meeting customers who had been sold systems that were either unnecessarily complicated or poorly suited to the property. He wanted to offer something more straightforward: look carefully at the site, explain the choices in plain English and install equipment that customers can actually use.
Daniel now works alongside installation engineer Jamie Collins, who specialises in camera positioning, cable routes and fault finding, and security systems technician Priya Shah, whose work includes access control, alarm configuration and network-connected equipment. The team serves domestic and commercial customers across Kent and still works around the same principle: good security starts with understanding the property rather than simply adding more equipment.
